A gentleman by the name of Mark Blair, who runs a great blog on how to be successful when fundraising a project, recently wrote about our book. In it, he breaks down the different things we did to be successful.
Here’s a snippet of the article:
First, they have a passion for their project. Watch their video. It comes across there and in the written project description.
They have a mission. A mission they make you feel a part of. That also comes across clearly again, in the video and description.
And (this is a big one!) throughout the video and project description, they are speaking to YOU. Even though the crowdfunding project is about them and their book, the topic is about you.
